Photos of our rendering

Finished jobs and work in progress by our team, from terraced fronts to large detached houses.

House in white render with dark grey window frames and a red paved drive
White silicone finish against dark frames, with a darker plinth along the bottom where rain splashes back.
Two terraced house fronts in matching smooth cream render with black doors
Two terraced fronts done together so the colour runs straight across without a join.
Terraced house in white render with a gabled bay and a red brick arch over the porch
Rendered white, with the brick porch arch and plinth left showing as the owner asked.

House with white render above a new buff brick front extension
Upper floor rendered after a front extension was built below it.
Long two-storey side wall in smooth white render with a dark band and black windows
A long side wall. Low sun shows every ripple on walls like this, so they are ruled flat.
Back of a chalet-style house in white render with three dark dormers and wide glazing
Strips of white render between large glazed openings, with every edge beaded.
House with steep white rendered gables and dark grey windows
Steep gables in white. The top of a gable takes the heaviest rain, so the detailing there matters.
Cream rendered house front with a timber porch on brick piers
Cream render worked neatly around a timber porch.
White rendered entrance and bay with a cream door surround and band
White walls with the door surround and band picked out in cream.
Victorian front with a cream rendered bay, decorative door surround and black railings
A Victorian front with its brackets and mouldings kept and finished with the wall.
Large detached house in cream render with a long gravel drive
A large detached house in cream, rendered elevation by elevation.

A row of new houses rendered in off-white onto new blockwork.
New house with cream render panels between red brick gables
Render used as panels between red brick, the edges all beaded straight.
Semi-detached house in white render with an arched entrance and a garage
A curved entrance shaped by hand in the render.
Small rendered garden building with a grey door
A garden building rendered to match the house.

What good rendering looks like close up

From the street most render looks fine. These are the details that show whether it was done well.

  • Corners and window edges that are sharp and straight all the way up
  • No ripples or trowel marks when low sun hits the wall
  • A clean line where render meets brick, stone or timber
  • A bead at the bottom that stops above the ground
  • Pipes and lights taken off and put back, not rendered around
